Services Offered

One Counselling session is 50 minutes (Couples 90 minutes). I work with a variety of clientele and age ranges (youth, adolescent, and adults).  Services are offered via in-person, telephone, or secure video.  

I offer a fee per session service with a regular hourly rate of $180 per session. $270 for 90 minute session. There are no additional fees for case administration or standardized assessments (couples counselling only). All fees include taxes. 

Pro-Bono Services

No one should have to go without support. I also offer one space for a sliding scale rate, in addition to, one community space for pro-bono service. 

Criminal Injuries Program

I am a registered provider with Criminal Injuries Program with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice. 

Services for First Nations 

I am a registered provider for First Nations registered with the Non-Insured Health Benefits Program through the Department of Indigenous Services Canada. 

I accept: cash and credit card payment.  A receipt is provided and can be used for reimbursement purposes which can now be conveniently and quickly processed using established insurance company APPs from your mobile device - sometimes reimbursed in the same day!     

I am a Registered Counselling Therapist (License #: RCT-24-045) and Canadian Certified Counsellor ( CCPA Member #: 0829). Ask about both with your provider. 

Please note that counselling and psychotherapy services provided by a private practice are not covered by MSI in Nova Scotia even with a physician's referral. An extended health plan with a private insurance company such as Blue Cross, SunLife, Manulife, Great West Life, Desjardins, and Greenshield can cover my services depending on the specific details of your policy. You will be provided with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please contact me if you have any questions.
